Each of the seven (7) Councils of Review will be headed by a Council President with extensive business experience. Whereas, each of the six (6) Regional AJT Libraries will be headed by a certified practicing solicitor.
And Case Assessors attached to each Council of Review will predominantly be Volunteers with extensive experience as either former members of the judiciary, former legal practitioners or paralegals. These Assessors will filter the flow of work being put to The AJT by prioritising cases on a 'most needy' basis. In doing so, Regional Directors and their support staff will be free to work more effectively in offering The AJT's pro bono legal services.
Although not all contract positions on offer can be filled immediately because of financial constraints, we would nevertheless invite expressions of interest.
